WHERE MY COUNTRY LACKS? AND WHAT’S NEXT?
Nepal, a country with great ‘diversity, a great belief and yes a
great fascination for every Nature lover. A country that has been going through
real bad times at present context. Whenever a child is born in a society, he
wakes with a dream of being great mattering element of the society, by the time
he grows up he gets his dream shattered. He is either bounded by poverty or by
the unnecessary pressure that our society creates. A youth with great
qualification and dedication tries to do something for the country but the does
not get the appropriate platform and hence searches opportunities abroad. Well
the truth is always bitter but according to the current scenario , we have
started living in a blind fate.
Nepalese, always proud of their countries are now forced to doubt on
their existence. A country which takes years and years to implement a
constitution, where female participation is always abused just because of their
gender, where you get quality education when you are born boy or actually rich. There are dark sides in every aspects of
field you get in, its up to you how you come up strong .But being a Nepali you
are kept deprived of this rights as well. Nepal is declared as a secular state
, according to the constitution 2072 but people still discriminate on religion
. There is no stability in Governance since the demise of late Girija Prasad
Koirala . Revolution of 2062 and end of monarch marked a great achievement back
then expectations were made higher after Maoist took up the government securing
highest seats in election . We are lacking in every prospect. In fact leaders
are experienced here but what the lack is a feeling of team work. Let me recall
a incident of recent time. The economic blockade created by India has
challenged many innocent lives. A country that just came up stronger after
facing a great earthquake hit suffered from another great jeopardy. Life was
just getting easy after those dark nights and everyone were hoping for a
clearer sunshine yet another trauma took place. We saw or felt great
co-operation among the citizens but what we actually are lacking are a bold
step from our present government . It is sole responsibility of a country’s
government to keep the pot boiling or easing the problem we face in anyways.
Had it been something about country being small, Cuba a country smaller than
Nepal once faced blockade from the USA never gave up and now is one of the
grossing country. Another country that we can learn from is Pakistan. A country
that faced poverty, famine after land division with India has done a lot in
improving its status. we might have experienced leaders but none came as an
inspiration. Talking about country’s economy hydropower and tourism are the
blessing in disguise. We have all the factors that a country need to uplift its
condition but we never care. We never take an initiation to develop these
matter or never have a zeal of doing something for our country. Being a citizen
we need to understand that it is either
us or none to develop the whole nine yards. Well, it is never easy to be a
responsible citizen and you need to work very hard or give up your best to
setup a prosperous nation . Every one dreams of living a prosperous life in
developed nation but never go through or learn from the struggle they faced in
this process. Life is never easy and one needs to come out of the comfort zone
if they really want to be a precious gem of the country. Youths need to work
for this. Remember, Canada would never achieve more success if leaders like Justin Trudeau never came in
action. Being optimist is the main key to success. If you get afraid of dark
clouds, you’ll never know what’s silver lining in cloud is. Making a long story
short, I suggest every youth to get back to the drawing board and feel the
happiness of hitting the nail right on the head.
